Our rugby game 20 june 2009

on Saturday 20 June 2009 we had a big game we were playing Waka and they lost last time we played them. when i got there some of our team was all ready training or getting warmed up. i was starting as number 5 (lock) and we kick off and they got the first try by half time we were losing by 3 tries but in the last minute we got a try and we were even so we had to get the kick. we got it and won everyone was happy and cheering. the player of the day was Madison and Talya, they are twins so they could share the ball. after that, that night the all blacks were playing France again last time France won but this time they lost but they got the cup because we did not win by 6 point or more the score was 14-10

last friday

last Friday28 may 2009 Dylan w came over to my house because we had a teacher only day we walked down to our friends house and we played rugby when we first got there we split up in to different team then my team past me the ball and i started running and Dylan tried to tackle me and he fell over and i just ran pass him then i steeped the others and got a try we where playing for a long time then when we got back we had lunch it was hot dogs they where yum! Then we went to my room and played rugby 2008 the next day we went down to Linton park and played kicks for a while then we played squash and we walk down to the shops and when we were walking we saw a dead possum it looked yuck then when we got there we got some lollies and chocolate by the time we got back they were all gone. The next morning we had people around to watch the rugby

21 may

Last Friday 21st may 2009 I was at my mums house. we watched the rugby and it was chiefs vs hurricanes. It was the semifinals and the chiefs won 14-10 after that i went and played rugby 2008 on ps2. the next morning I had to get up early for Rugby we were playing waka and this was our first game this season our game started at 10.40 and went for 60 minutes (30 minutes each half) but we had to get there by 10.00 to warm up and get ready. at 8.30 my dad pick me up when i got to his house we played ps2 we played driving to destruction and medal of honor.when it was time to go i but on my rugby boots and got my mouth guard and we went when i got there most of my team was there so i went and talk to them then my team had to get warmed up when we where just about to go on we huddle up and talk then we went on to the field our caption is tre and he went to talk to the ref to see who kicked off the ref hide a leaf behind his back and he had to choose a hand and how ever got it right got to choose who kick off the other team got it right so we had to kick it off. bang the ball went up after about ten minutes we got the first try. the final score was 24-20 to us. after the game we went home and i had a shower then we had lunch and then we play driving to destruction and V8 super cars the next day we went in to rebel sports and i got a kicking tea and shoulder pads. went we got that we went down to Linton park and i practiced my goal kicking then i went home and watched t.v and that was my weekend.

Museum

last term room 1 ,2 and 3 went to the Museum for our marae stay at the museum we watched the movie where the seats move, the movie is about the tarawera eruption. It shows you what they think happened we also went to the top of the museum and it had a good view of Rotorua.

Marathon

Our school helps in the Marathon by handing out drinks. We had drink stops at the 5km and the 10km. I was at the 5km and it was very cold and windy that day so everyone was wearing warm jumpers. we had to full 3 tables with cold drinks.when the runners came they where going fast and when they went to grab the drink it spilled on me but luckily no all of them splashed on me.Everyone who did it go a flash.

SWIMMING

Last term the whole school went down to the Aquatic Center for a fun competition with the houses. Everyone went down even if they didn't have there togs they went down to cheer there house on. I'm in Solomon I was in 2 or 3 of the competition when I got in the pool I thought it was not that cold but after i got out it was freezing!everyone that wanted to swim swam i was so fun.

Hello my name is Sam and i go to Kaitao Middle School I am 11 years old. I like rugby, bowling, squash, cricket, listening to music, playing ps2 and PSP and Xbox and fishing in the weekends. In my family I have my Mum my Dad and my sister. My teacher is Miss D and she's cool.

My favorite foods are Butter Chicken, Burger King, Pizza Hut . I play Rugby for Waikite under 12s and i play lock we have about 18 people on our team and we play 15 on the field so we don't have much players i have been playing for about 5 years before that I played Soccer . I live in New Zealand. In the holidays my dad and I entered a fishing competition and I got best condition and won $500 and that was awesome.I have 4 cats 3 of them are female and 1 is Male. My friends are Dylan M,Brandon,Tayne,Lewis,Toby,Zac,Russell,Ethan,Tre,Andrew,Ryan,Jim,Alex,John,Vincent, Mitchell ,Dylan W, Dion.
